Stepping Stones is well known locally for its childcare facility. Clients can leave their children with us, free of charge, in our Ofsted rated childcare setting whilst they attend appointments with us or other professionals.
But our work with children and mums goes well beyond this.
Helping to build strong, cohesive families is one of our core aims as an organisation. We offer a range of one to one support and group programmes to enable clients to build parenting skills and confidence, maximise their potential, keep kids safe and give them the best possible start in life.

We’ve now partnered with Flying Start, Luton’s pregnancy to 5s strategy, which aims to provide all children with the best possible start in life. Led by Luton Borough Council working alongside the Pre School Learning Alliance, the Flying Start partnership is a very natural fit for Stepping Stones. Our Flying Start partnership officially starts in January 2017 where for the next two years we’ll be delivering a larger range of parenting programmes and aiming to support more women become confident parents and helping to create and maintain strong, happy families.
